Hand Needle Felted 100% Wool Woman with Child - Earth Friendly Gift

This "Woman with Child" measures almost 8"tall. Her base measures 8" in
diameter. She is wearing a light purple dress that is decorated with a flower,
butterfly, mushrooms, and foresty greenery. She wears a removable white
hand-knit triangular cape that has tassels on each point. She has a handmade
Celtic healing spiral necklace and her hair is pulled back and held by a
handmade healing spiral clip. My camera flash has made her hair look a tiny
redder than it is. The best pictures of her hair are numbers 7 and 8. She is
felted very firm, and signed "Linda '21" on the bottom.

Needle felting is done with special, very sharp, barbed needles. The barbs
agitate the wool fibers bonding them together. Different needles are used for
different desired effects and sculpting. Felting a shape is achieved one stab
at a time.

I use wool from humanely raised, small farm family sheep.
