The shimmery egg is a little bigger than your fist. You peek into the hole,
but you can't quite make out what's inside. It comes in a brown and
gold-threaded nest -- with a letter, addressed to you! The explorer who sent
you the egg wasn't sure, but you have an instinctive guess.... Is it really a
dragon inside? Could it be? ... YES! It's a curious Baby Sunset Dragon with
spine ridges of pearls and opalite!

PERSONALIZATION
The explorer who found the egg will be writing a letter to you, or to the
person you're giving the baby dragon to. Please tell me the new dragon-owner's
name and age or occupation, and a specific "probably ready to hatch by" date if
this is for a gift.


CREATION
Each of my collectible dragons is unique. This Sunset Dragon baby is
primarily of purple wool fibers, with aquas, blues, pinks, and a few beige
streaks mimicking sunset clouds. Its round glass eyes peer out at you
curiously. Its back and tail ridges are teardrop-shaped moonstone gems, sewn in
with wire thread. (Pearls are a June birthstone, by the way!) Its gossamer
wings are thin purple wool, stiffened into a gentle curve.

The nest is also felted, woolen browns and grays and random threads of gold.
It will keep the egg just the right temperature while you decide when to hatch
your dragon. (Cozy in its nest, this baby can wait until someone's birthday if
you'd like.... Let me know if you'd like the explorer's letter to specify a
particular hatching date!)

The egg is a genuine emu egg.


SHIPPING
You'll receive your letter and dragon's egg in a repurposed box. The egg will
be safe and cozy inside its nest and bubble wrap. Every egg is guaranteed
against in-transit damage.


Whether it's for a dragon-loving friend or for a child who longs for his or
her own magic-filled fantasy, this has mystery to it in a way that a simple
dragon gift does not. The timing for hatching is up to the owner of the egg.
They get to wonder about it and dream about it for as long as they'd like.
