Star Gazer Holding Star - Stained Glass Suncatcher

This precious little stargazer comes with a smile offering a Star. A great
gift for any season!

She measures about 8.25" tall

She's made mostly of glass from our vintage collection, most dating back to
the 70's and no longer in production.
Her dress is a "early" production waterglass from the 70's back when it was
still made in the USA and the pattern was much tighter and on both sides of the
glass. The hair is a gorgeous golden color glass that I can't even identify.
The face is a vintage Armstrong glass.

She holds a solid brass star in her hand that has been thickly coated in
solder, then given a copper patina.

As in all our work this suncatcher is very sturdily made. The outside edges
have a substantial amount of solder built-up over the copper foil, so it can be
safely washed with a bit of dish detergent and warm water. A copper patina has
been applied to the solder.
