The amount of time spent on this crewel artwork by the embroiderer is a
testament to the pride of its Phi Mu Sister. Each stitch details her
faithfulness to the creed and motto of the second oldest female fraternal
organization in the United States.
This was professionally framed in North Carolina, and is dated "June '75" or
"June '78". It measures 16" X 16" and is in very good vintage condition. There
is some wear on the frame best seen in photo collage #9. It could be easily
touched up, but I wanted to leave it in original condition. There is also a
very faint water mark on the linen material - pointed out in photo collage #9.
This would make a really special graduation gift for a Phi Mu Sister.
