This is a piece of completed cross stitch which has been framed under glass.
It was adapted from artwork of Hummel and the chart for this was published in
the 1980's. This particular Hummel design is called Retreat to Safety.

The frame is wood and is a light brown color. It measures 12" wide by 15"
high. It has a single rose colored mat (non acid free). The inside opening
measures 7-1/4" by 9-1/2" high.

I did not stitch this -- it is a vintage find. The design was stitched on
cream AIDA cloth using cotton embroidery threads. I've removed the needlework
to photograph it without glass. The stitching looks great, is clean, no odor,
no loose threads or running threads showing from the back. It has a stitched
name on the bottom -- Hummel '90 It may have been mandatory when given
adaptation rights to include the Hummel name in the design and the '90 is the
year it was stitched.

I have cleaned and replaced the glass and given it a new dust paper and
hanger. It is a really pretty piece and it's ready to be hung on your wall.
