HILDE lives in one of San Francisco’s “painted ladies” with a two story
turret. In the middle of this wildly wallpapered turret room sits her piano.
She teaches young children to play. Her students love her and know she loves
flowers. They often hand her a flower when they arrive. Hilde likes to begin
her lesson with a duo ditty to warm up. She will sit down on the bench next to
her student, looks around, with no place to put her flower, she will poke it
into her hair. Now hands free they can begin. You can tell she had a very busy
day today.
