Keeping the tail or a tuft of mane/forelock hair from our companions upon
their passing is a tradition some of us equestrians hold. What better way to
remember them after they pass than as an angel watching over you.

This beautiful handmade piece would compliment many styles including:
Bohemian, Country, Farmhouse, Ranch, Western/Southwest, Rustic, Shabby Chic,
Coastal, Eclectic and Romantic.

This memorial keepsake can be purchased with or without the addition of your
horses mane/tail/forelock. The horse's/buyer's contribution is mailed to me
(buyer pays for that shipping), then it is and incorporated free of charge into
the piece.

Each set of wings is created using natural cotton cording and an authentic
horseshoe (aluminum or steel depending on availability) from a working stable
in Ocala, Florida. Different colors of cording, as well as beads, can be used
upon request. Please contact the seller if this is something you desire. The
cotton cording is knotted into wings attached to the horse shoe. When possible
I use one macrame cord for each year the horse lived.

Finished dimensions are ABOUT 16" wide and 12" from top to bottom, not
including the tail. As this is a handmade human-made item no two pieces are
exactly alike.

I recommend a minimum of 16" of tail length but the more length the better.
Smaller lengths could be incorporated into the piece in a different way, please
contact the seller to discuss this if desired. Again...Suggested minimum hair
amount to ensure product resembles the listing: 1/2" diameter and 16" length.
The more you send the longer and or fuller the end result. Any remaining hair
will be shipped back with the finished product.
