Hello everyone! Thank you for swinging by to look at all of the handmade
items. I make and add new merchandise constantly, so put me in your favorites
list for the next time you are browsing and shopping – and share me with your
friends, too!
This fun 20 x 28-inch table topper was so easy and addicting to make while
binge watching Netflix that I made three in a week! The colors are so joyous
and bright. I used mostly batik fabrics with exception of the sashing fabric
(the gray with black hearts). I used various colors of thread in the appliqué
work. It is quilted in a white thread.
Each of the eight gingerbread men have their own little heart on them.
I used 100% cotton fabrics, a low-loft 80/20 cotton/poly blend for batting,
and polyester thread.
I HAVE NOT pre-washed this particular item. Batiks are not prone to the colors
running (when washing); however, to ensure the colors from bleeding or fading,
wash separately with a color catcher (Shout makes them!) until you feel
confident that the colors will not run. Color catchers are neat – you can reuse
them for 2-3 cycles sometimes! All washes should be cold cycle and tumble dry
on little to no heat.
Thank you for looking – happy shopping!
