Finished Sewn Jacket, Vest and Stock for Mary’s 12 inch mohair fox
Hi folks! It is my pleasure to offer this set of three items to clothe your
12” fox! You have either purchased a fox from me or you have made your own. In
either case, your fox needs his own riding jacket, waistcoat and stock! Voila!
Here is a pattern for it! You will download only one long PDF file.
This pattern can be made up a variety of ways. In the sample shown, I made the
jacket out of virgin wool felt (with no lining) and used black wool felt for
the lapel. I used an embroidered cotton piece for the vest (waistcoat) and
lined with a cotton broadcloth. For the stock (necktie) I used a white,
flocked, silk georgette with an antique French cotton lace edge.
The pattern features a contrast lapel, pocket flaps, blanket stitch embroidery
(for felt version only) , center back pleat and seams for a perfect fit. It
appears to be “buttoned “ due to the Velcro strips I sewed inside for closure.
Both the jacket and waistcoat have gold beads for buttons.
For the jacket, you can choose to make a lined version in cotton, wool or
linen with a velvet collar or an unlined version in wool felt with blanket
stitch embroidery. Of course choose any fabric you would like for the waistcoat
and stock. I give directions for both.

Anyway thanks so much for looking at this item.
Many blessings,
Mary
