Whole felted icelandic fleece. Perfect unique gift for a loved one or for
yourself. This fleece is cruelty free. The back is felted, not pelted. The
sheep lives! The piece is washable. Handcrafted. As individual as the sheep it

The end use for the piece is whatever YOU want it to be. Past customers have
bought them for chair/bench covers, Harley seat covers, yoga mats, stadium
blankets, bed covers, rugs, wall hangings, pet beds, etc. You get to decide!

Each piece starts with a shearing. After skirting and picking, I lay out the
fleece in its natural shape. Each piece is different. I then cover the cut side
with a wispy layer for wool from the same fleece and cover that with a cotton
gauze and cover the gauze with another three layers of wispy fleece for
felting. Hot sudsy water and lots of agitation washes the lock side and felts
the back side. I never know what a piece will look like until it's finished.
And no other piece, even from the same sheep, will ever be the same.
