It is a beautiful carpet is from Boujaad in the Middle Atlas Mountains of
Morocco.
It is a true work of art made from naturally dyed soft wool. It is an
absolutely exceptional room that will add a good atmosphere to any space.
The color changes from fuchsia to purple provided with a cream and brown
broken diamond pattern throughout. Some areas of the carpet are quite rich and
others very faded. The photos show the representation of all the variations and
were taken in natural light.
The Boujaad tribe originated in the Middle Atlas Mountains and traditionally
made their carpets to protect them from the cold. They were used to cover soils
and even as blankets when temperatures were at their lowest.

Berber carpets were not made for production, but as functional pieces that
could be used for many years and passed down from generation to generation.
What is amazing is that it means that all the beautiful colors and patterns
used have a real meaning behind them and that are personal expressions that
tell the story of the woman who made it.
All carpets are cleaned and the necessary repairs are carried out in Morocco
before shipment. I only select carpets in excellent condition with minimal
repairs.
