Chogakbo, also known as Bojagi, is an artistic Korean form of quilting
employing a hallmark design of linear patches.
Traditional materials used to create Chogakbo range from scraps of natural
materials such as silk, cotton, ramie to linen. Ramie is a plant native to
Korea whose fibers are used to create a lovely light material.
Bojagi is especially good for wrapping many things including precious
articles and is often used for covering tables of food.
Bojagi beautifies every corner of our everyday lives while being practical and
economical.
Today, Bojagi is often used in a decorative way as a wall divider or window.
The nature in the way this Ramie Bojagi is sewn together, there is no
distinction between up and down, right or left, front or back; which lends it's
use to a variety of situations.
